Imunify360 is a powerful security solution for Linux servers that helps protect against various threats. In this guide, we will walk you through the installation process using SSH.
Note: Make sure you have root-level access to your server before proceeding.
Step 1: Connect to Your Server
Use your preferred SSH console application to connect to your server. Replace your_username and your_server_ip with your actual VPS credentials:
ssh your_username@your_server_ip
Step 2: Download and Run the Installation Script
To start the installation, use the following script with your activation key. Replace YOUR_KEY with your actual activation key:
wget https://repo.imunify360.cloudlinux.com/defence360/i360deploy.sh bash i360deploy.sh --key YOUR_KEY
If you have an IP-based license, run the script with no arguments:
wget https://repo.imunify360.cloudlinux.com/defence360/i360deploy.sh bash i360deploy.sh
Step 3: Check Your Control Panel
After the script has been deployed, Installation should take 5-10 minutes, depending on the server’s performance and the network speed. Once the installation is completed, you can find the Imunify360 option in cPanel/WHM. Imunify360 should now be available in the plugin section. Simply search for it to access the Imunify360 settings.
Step 4: Configuration
At the first time, you need to agree the TOS → Click on ACCEPT.
Go to ‘Setting’ & Click ‘General’ tab. You you find here Invisible Captcha & Kernelcare.
If you have Kernelcare license, Then click ‘Install Kernelcare’ button. KernelCare is the product of CloudLinux and that you can install by simply clicking on the Install KernelCare option. It would take some time.
After finished, You can also install ‘Invisible Captcha’ by clicking ‘Install Invisible Captcha’ button. Invisible Captcha Automatically determine if the user is human. The system falls back to captcha solving if the algorithm determines that a user may not be human.
